From London’s fashionable royal borough of Chelsea to both coasts of the US, Bash has been styling and cutting hair since the seventies. He’s done hair for members of The Associates, ABC, Nervous Eaters, Think Tree, and Deborah Harry of Blondie, and countless other rock n rollers.
With influences ranging from Vivienne Westwood to the punk scene of the late seventies and the New Romantics, Bash brings both style and substance to his clients. It all started in high school when he’d cut hair in the cafeteria: “I wanted to update people’s looks and help them feel better about themselves.”
When asked for his motto as a VAIN hairstylist, Bash answers in true form: “You’ll have to wait for VAIN- The Movie.” Bash’s interests outside VAIN include world travel, music, and human behavior.
