Emmett’s passion for the art and science of hair began early. At the age of 15, he enrolled in a cosmetology program while attending high school in Chicago. Since then, he has had an uninterrupted career working as a hairstylist for over 18 years. His additional positions in the beauty industry have included: educator, consultant, hair product development, salon owner, education director, platform/runway stylist, editorial stylist, and creative director. He has been recognized for quality and excellence in local and national publications including Modern Salon and Self Magazine.
Emmett has continued to evolve his skills and approach to hair through advanced training as well as expertise and certification in new, cutting edge techniques. He draws inspiration from diverse sources to stay current in a constantly evolving world, giving his clients personalized and practical hair solutions that reflect his passion and their personal style.
